Born in a rice bran oil refinery. Made for the dairy.
“Oryza” is the botanical name for rice. OryzaFat turns the fatty acids from rice bran oil refining into a protected energy source for dairy cattle and buffalo.
Six things to know.
What it is
A rumen bypass fat: fatty acids in a form that passes the rumen and is digested in the small intestine.
Why it was developed
High-yielding animals often cannot meet their energy needs from feed alone. OryzaFat adds energy without adding rumen-fermentable starch.
Raw material
Rice bran oil fatty acids, about 69% unsaturated in our tested material.
Calcium soap technology
The fatty acids are bound with calcium, which protects them at rumen pH and releases them in the acidic abomasum.
Intended application
An energy supplement within a balanced ration, for animals in high production.
Cattle and buffalo
Intended for lactating dairy cattle and buffalo.
PBS Oil Industries
OryzaFat is developed and manufactured by PBS Oil Industries, an edible-oil company working with rice bran oil.
